The combination of UDP PC cards and software enables Video Analytics on DVR/hybrid designs. This analytics package uses the same tracking engine as integrated into UDP edge devices including the tools to configure zones, lines, rules, calibration and object classification. The analytics can be integrated with non-UDP capture cards or IP products provided that they can provide appropriate raw video files or video from DirectShow capture devices, or via a pipe connection to a VLC player.
