Stand alone video stabilizers such as the NVC100-STAB1 are available from UDP for fixed camera installations and also applications on PTZ cameras and with cameras on moving platform such as cars and bikes. The algorithm can also be applied in all products that are analytics capable. In the case of IP cameras, encoders and capture cards the stabilizer software removes the camera motion from the analytics before the detection rules are applied making the analytics more precise (by removing extraneous motion) but they can also optionally provide the operator with a stabilized video output to view.
