NVE40K-B 19" 4U Network Video Encoder Rack Solution
UDP’s NVE units provide full frame rate D1 (4CIF) video on all channels using MPEG4 encoding with optional audio and support for popular PTZ protocols.
UDP rack systems have hot-swap blade encoders and diagnostic information for the performance of the blades, power supplies and fan units. The rack chassis’ incorporate a microprocessor so that fault finding information includes the rack reference which is essential in larger system installations. Diagnostics and rack information can be retrieved directly by our API which allows our customers to build their software and add those functionalities to warn the operators against possible defects. In the event of a power supply, fan or blade failure the application software can tell the service engineer which part to ‘hot swap’, making it possible for ‘local’ staff that are less highly trained to repair a system quickly rather than wait for a visit from a specialized engineer.
