PCI Express External Capture Box BECP960-32EX - 32 channel 800/960 FPS Capture PCI Express Box Product concept / advantages The most important feature of the “B”-Series external capture card design is that the PC and capture functions are separated. This is important logistically, especially for large companies – failed PC’s can go back to the PC vendor and failed capture units can go back to UDP. Otherwise you need a factory / support centre that can handle the combined product, which may be difficult for some companies to provide.   In addition you don’t need a full size industrial PC to take these cards – you can use 1U or 2U servers such as Dell or HP. With the installation of the UDP provided interface card, you simply connect the PC and the external box with one cable.   It reduces on-site cabling costs inside the racks. The installer only has to install the PC and the BECP960-32EX and the rack is ready to have video connected to it via BNC connectors. There is no need to install cabling from the card connectors to the back of the rack.   The box replaces several cards the ECP960 + Digital I/O.   If you want to make 64 or 96 channels DVR system, this solution could be very useful.
